Legal Services
Three Services, Each Designed Around a Real Need
Every engagement has a defined scope, a fixed fee, and a written outcome. We do not offer open-ended retainers or vague advisory arrangements.
Back to HomeHow We Work
Our Methodology
Before any chargeable work begins, we conduct a short initial call or meeting to confirm that the service you are considering is appropriate to your circumstances. If we believe a different engagement would serve you better, we will say so at that stage — not after you have committed.
Once an engagement is confirmed, we issue a written engagement letter that describes the scope of work, the fee, and the timeline. All work is carried out by a named practitioner, and you receive a direct contact for any questions that arise during the engagement.
Each service concludes with a written deliverable — either a findings summary, a formal letter to an employer, or a review document. We do not regard a conversation as a substitute for written output.
Initial Call
We confirm the right service before any fee applies.
Engagement Letter
Scope, fee, and timeline in writing before work begins.
Document Review
We examine your statement and employment records in detail.
Written Findings
Every engagement ends with a written deliverable you retain.
Service One
Pension Statement Review
An appointment dedicated to reviewing a recent pension statement received by the client from the administering authority. We examine the statement in detail, comparing it against the client's understanding of their record and identifying any items that may merit further inquiry.
The client leaves with a written summary of findings and a measured view on which items, if any, may be worth pursuing further. Suitable for clients who would like a careful independent reading of a statement before deciding on any further action.
- Line-by-line examination of the full statement
- Comparison against your personal employment history
- Written findings summary provided at the end of the appointment
- Thai Social Security Office and GPF statements accepted
- Thai documents read and translated as part of the service
How the appointment works:
You provide your pension statement in advance or at the appointment.
We read through it with you, noting items that require explanation or appear inconsistent.
We discuss the findings and explain the significance of any items identified.
You receive a written summary within two working days of the appointment.
Best suited for
- Clients who have received a statement and are uncertain what it shows
- Those approaching retirement who want a clear picture of their entitlements
- Foreign nationals who need Thai pension documents explained in English
Best suited for
- Clients whose employment history includes periods of suspected under-reporting
- Those who changed employers and noticed gaps in their contribution record
- Former employees of companies that have since closed or restructured
Service Two
Employer Contribution Recovery
Legal work to recover pension contributions that should have been made by an employer during the client's period of employment but were not, in fact, paid into the pension system. This is formal legal work and is distinct from a general review or advice appointment.
The work includes review of employment documentation, correspondence with the former employer, and where necessary, formal proceedings to secure the contributions and the associated pension credits.
- Employment record and payslip analysis
- Formal correspondence drafted and sent to the employer
- Liaison with the Social Security Office if required
- Formal proceedings initiated where employer does not respond
- Progress updates throughout the process
Process overview:
Documentation review: payslips, contracts, and SSO records examined.
Written demand letter sent to the former employer setting out the shortfall.
Negotiation or formal submission to the SSO or labour authorities if the employer disputes or ignores.
Confirmation of recovered contributions and updated pension credit issued in writing.
Service Three
Long-Term Pension Strategy Counsel
A counsel relationship for clients who would value an ongoing professional view on their pension matters over a period of years. Rather than engaging a new practitioner each time a question arises, clients in this arrangement have access to a lawyer who already knows their circumstances and can respond to new questions with that context already in place.
The engagement includes an initial detailed review, periodic updates on changes in pension law that may affect the client's circumstances, and the availability of focused appointments when specific matters arise.
- Initial detailed review of all current pension records
- Up to four focused appointments per year included
- Written updates when relevant law changes
- Priority response for time-sensitive questions
- Annual renewal — no automatic commitment to continue
What the annual engagement covers:
Full review of all pension records at the start of the engagement year.
Up to four short appointments during the year for specific questions.
Written notice when legislative or regulatory changes may affect your position.
End-of-year written summary of your pension situation and recommended steps.
Best suited for
- Clients with multiple pension accounts or complex employment histories
- Individuals approaching retirement who want ongoing professional guidance
- Foreign nationals with both Thai and overseas pension arrangements to coordinate
